Wonkybot Studios has just dropped “Nevermore (The Scary Fairy Song)”, a brand new single from the composing team Stewart St John & Michael Plahuta, featuring a vocal performance by Anna Bella Foster.
The song is immediately available on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers.
Foster, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, originated the role of Princess Fabianna “FiFi” L’Heureux — a fairy captured by the Demon King — in the recent Alabama concert debut of St John’s Spooky Troop The Musical. Following the one-night performance, Foster recorded the track at a studio in Atlanta; it was later mixed and mastered in Los Angeles and New York.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with Anna Bella’s haunting performance of the song,” said St John. “Her vocal range was a perfect match for what Michael and I were looking for.”
“She nailed some challenging last minute lyric and melody additions in the studio,” said Plahuta. “She proved what a team player she is and we’re delighted to feature her on this track.”
“Nevermore (The Scary Fairy Song)” is produced by the Wonkybot Studios trio St John, Plahuta and Todd Fisher. The song will be one of several featured in the upcoming 2018 musical concert tour recently announced. “To Be Me”, performed by Allie Jordan Butcher, was the first song released from the musical.
