Special Tremendous-Sized Episode For The Secret Diaries Of Tara Tremendous Season 1 Finale
The Secret Diaries of Tara Tremendous, a #1-ranked iTunes Kids & Family Episode podcast from Wonkybot Studios and Paudkast Network, will air a special season 1 finale on Tuesday, April 5th.
“The finale is jam-packed with fun and music for the whole family,” said series creator, writer, composer and voice director Stewart St John.
“We’ve spent the first season telling Tara’s origin story, and how Dr. Epic has been plotting to get his revenge on the girl who he believes stole his power,” said co-executive producer Todd Fisher. “And just when it looks like he finally has the upper hand – his mother shows up – which might be good news for Tara!”
In the double-length episode titled “Mama”, Dr. Epic (voiced by Stewart St John) has control of Tara’s T-bracelet, a sophisticated piece of technology that allows Tara to record her private diary entries; it also holds the access frequency to the unchartable Foundation Island, home of Power University.
With the bracelet now in his possession, Dr. Epic is plotting to infiltrate Power U and retrieve its power and secrets. But a surprise visit from Epic’s Mama (special guest star Mia Moravis), and a bold move by henchman 1102 (voiced by Michael Plahuta), could upset the mad scientist’s plans and spell good news for Tara.
In addition to wrapping up the season 1 storyline, the finale features a show-stopping original song called “Mama” and a reprise called “Can’t Top Me” from the musical duo of Stewart St John and Michael Plahuta.
“Michael’s arrangement on ‘Mama’ is off the charts,” said Stewart. “It’s big and bold and brassy… perfectly fitting Dr Epic’s Mama.”
“And Stewart’s melody and lyrics are instantly hummable and witty as always,” added Michael. “It was a lot of fun to see it all come to life.”
“When I was creating the role of Epic’s mother,” continued Stewart, “I wanted someone fun, big and bold to voice her, and someone who could sing. So I called up the wonderfully multi-talented actress/singer/producer Mia Moravis and said — hey, wanna give this a shot? Thankfully she said yes!”
“What a tour de force are Wonkybot Studios and Stewart, Michael and Todd,” said Mia Moravis. “It is a heartfelt honor to participate in the Tara Tremendous series, first as Tara’s Grandmother, Evelyn, and now as Dr. Epic’s Mama! That gives me the joy and challenge of two women on opposite sides of the spectrum.”
“Mia definitely had fun with the role and the song,” said Michael. “We recorded in two different states, two different studios, and somehow it all came together.”
The podcast series finale airs Tuesday, April 5th, on iTunes and right here on Wonkybot.com, and the exciting second season is set to take off in May.
