Special Pre-Show Concert Will Open Tara Tremendous The Musical Event
Beverly Hills, CA — 12-year-old multi-talented actress/singer/dancer Anna Bella Foster has been tapped to play Princess Fabianna “FiFi” L’Heureux (aka FiFi The Fairy) in Wonkybot’s presentation of Stewart St John’s “Spooky Troop The Musical Concert”. The special pre-show event will lead into the Tara Tremendous The Musical Concert at the Anniston Performing Arts Center in Anniston, Alabama.
Produced by Wonkybot Studios, show time is November 2 at 7 PM. Tickets are now available at wonkybot.com
“We’re thrilled to cast Anna Bella in the role of Princess FiFi for the Spooky Troop concert,” said Stewart St John, co-founder of Wonkybot Studios and writer/producer and co-composer of the musical. “When we saw her audition tape we knew right away we’d found our Princess FiFi!”
Anna Bella, who is from Birmingham, Alabama, was recently seen as Baby June in Gypsy, Sophie in School of Rock, and Tessie in Annie. Her performance as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden earned her rave reviews, she recently made her film debut in the movie Union, and BroadwayWorld named her 2016’s Best Local Actress in a Musical.
“I’m thrilled to be cast in the role of FiFi the Fairy,” said Anna Bella. In the show, Princess FiFi is key to the Demon King’s wicked plot to wipe out the third dimension (home to the “pitifuls” aka humans). Can the Spooky Troop rescue Princess FiFi from the King’s evil clutches in time to save mankind?
Created by St John, Spooky Troop is the story of seven supernatural friends who want to make a difference in their world, a place where monsters, witches, ghosts and ghouls really exist – and are feuding with each other. The Spooky Troop friends — Stewart (The Sorcerer), Valerie (The Vampire), Willie (The Werewolf), Delilah (The Demon), Zianna (The Zombie), Todd (The Oddbot) and Michael (The Monster) — are determined to show their racially divided realm the power of coming together… even if the world isn’t ready to embrace such a concept.
St John adapted the story for the stage and composed brand new songs with musical partner Michael Plahuta, which will be heard for the very first time in the Anniston concert.
“Wonkybot’s mission is to deliver exiting stories with positive themes for kids and families,” said Todd Fisher, COO, Wonkybot Studios and concert producer. “Spooky Troop is an exciting adventure story filled with positive themes about tolerance, believing in yourself and the power of family and friendship. We couldn’t be more proud to introduce the Spooky Troop to the Alabama audience.”
Wonkybot chose Anniston, Alabama to launch the concert because of the enormous support, warmth and love the project has garnered from the community, which represents the message of what Wonkybot and its projects are all about.
The 90-minute musical evening is presented by Wonkybot Studios. Produced by Todd Fisher, Stewart St John, and Michael Plahuta.
