“Her powers made her extraordinary. Her heart made her a superhero.”
A new family musical inspired by Stewart St John’s #1 iTunes hit podcast series The Secret Diaries of Tara Tremendous.
Tara Tremendous: The Musical tells the story of 11-year-old Tara Callahan, a strong, resilient and lovable girl who, after the death of her father, is sent to live with her controlling grandmother — the mayor of Big City. Evelyn has designs to turn Tara into something she’s not, and when Tara stands up to her friction ensues. Tara dreams of a way to break free and go someplace where she can help others the way her father taught her.
She gets her chance when she goes from ordinary to extraordinary overnight after accidentally receiving the powers of every superhero in the world. But will Grandmother Evelyn and Tara’s obnoxious cousin Lydia — a mean-girlwho’s jealous of Tara’s good heart — allow Tara to embrace her destiny, or destroy her heroic future? Tara will have to summon strength and courage to take control of her life.
A dazzling, fun and inspirational musical that celebrates girl-power, friendship and standing up for what you believe in.
