Michael Plahuta, a Melbourne-based attorney, composer, musician, and designer, brings a rare blend of creative vision and legal expertise to Wonkybot. As co-founder, he has co-composed the original scores and theme songs for every Wonkybot property alongside Stewart St John — from Tara Tremendous and Spooky Troop to Origins Unknown — helping define the studio’s signature cinematic sound.

With The Swines, Plahuta expands his creative reach as Art Director, shaping the show’s distinct visual style. Building upon St John’s early sketches, he helps establish the series’ playful, satirical aesthetic — ensuring every frame resonates with humor, heart, and personality.

In addition to his creative roles, Plahuta serves as Wonkybot’s in-house counsel, overseeing contracts and legal affairs — a unique advantage that helps protect the studio’s growing universe of wholly owned IP and safeguard its fiercely independent vision.
