Michael Plahuta

Co-Founder, Producer, Composer

Michael Plahuta is a co-founder of Wonkybot Entertainment, its production arm Wonkybot Studios, and executive producer of all Wonkybot content, heavily involved in creative development across Wonkybot’s library of original material.

Michael is also an accomplished music producer, sound designer, and music director with a background in producing, composing, scoring, engineering, mixing and mastering.

Originally an attorney born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Michael came to the US to work exclusively with Stewart and Todd in forming Wonkybot Studios. His background in law and expertise in strategies and contracts gives him a unique perspective in overseeing the business side of the company.

Additionally, Michael and music partner Stewart St John formed a co-composing team (St John & Plahuta) and wrote and produced 20 songs for the NY debut of the Tara Tremendous The Musical concert series performed at world-famous 54 Below featuring Micky Dolenz (The Monkees), Annie Golden (Orange Is The New Black) and a host of Broadway stars.  The project caught the attention of producer Marc Platt and his development team who have discussed developing other musical projects with St John & Plahuta.

They’ve also scored hours of instrumental music for shows, including the Webby Award Winning Origins Unknown, Parents’ Choice Gold Award-winning Tara Tremendous and the Spooky Troop series, all of which Michael also engineers, sound designs, edits and mixes.
