Los Angeles, CA January 24, 2018 — Wonkybot Studios, the children and family production, publishing and music company, today announced that Audible.com, the world’s largest seller and producer of downloadable audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment will become the exclusive distributor of the first three volumes of Tara Tremendous: The Secret Diaries — The Audio Adventure Series, based on Stewart St John’s stage play Tara Tremendous: The Secret Diaries. The Tara Tremendous franchise began life as a podcast series that shot to #1 on Apple when it originally launched.

“The audiobook series is based on the Tara Tremendous stage play, and aimed at a slightly younger audience than the podcast series,” shares creator/writer Stewart St John. “The stories are simpler, easier to follow, but still adventurous and fun for all ages!”

Produced by St. John, Todd Fisher and Michael Plahuta, with Associate Producer Antoinette Plahuta, the continuing adventure series is presented as multiple volumes, engaging young listeners in fun, adventure and empowerment as Tara becomes more and more familiar with her newfound superhero abilities. Audiences will also learn how Tara’s path crosses with the diabolical “genius of all evil” Dr. Epic. Ongoing stories are inspired by coming-of-age issues young kids understand, like trying to fit in with new friends, and empowering messages about family, friendship, self-image, kindness and more. As Tara balances superhero expectations with her own individuality, she reminds kids about the joys of being themselves.
