Krawehl Makes His Voice Acting Debut as Maximilian Schweinschnauzen, Oinkersfield’s Flamboyant Theater Impresario and Longtime Rival of Sebastian St. Piggleton

LOS ANGELES, CA — June 25, 2026 — Wonkybot Entertainment has announced that Berlin native Marco Krawehl will make his voice acting debut in Season 2 of the hit animated YouTube comedy-soap The Swines, the flagship series from Wonkybot Animation.

Krawehl joins the growing cast as Maximilian Schweinschnauzen, the theatrical owner of Oinkersfield’s pretentiously named community theater, Das Oinken Schauspielhaus (‘The Oink Theater’), and a former high school rival of Hoggywood filmmaker Sebastian St. Piggleton, voiced by series creator Stewart St. John.

The character first enters the story indirectly when legendary actress Sarah Piglas (voiced by Superman star Sarah Douglas) arrives in Oinkersfield for a mysterious “Superswine Convention” hosted by Maximilian. The mere mention of his name immediately puts Sebastian on edge, hinting at a decades-old rivalry that began when Maximilian arrived in Oinkersfield as an exchange student from Berlin and never left.

“It’s giving heated rivalry,” remarks Sebastian’s business partner Marcus Pighuta in the episode.

“Without the happy ending,” Sebastian responds.

The appearance marks the beginning of a larger subplot that explores the complicated relationship between two outsized creative personalities whose mutual dislike has simmered for decades.

Krawehl’s casting reflects the increasingly international reach of The Swines, which has attracted viewers from around the world through YouTube. The series already features recurring appearances by British-born actress Sarah Douglas, while Australian-born Wonkybot co-founder Michael Plahuta voices fan-favorite Marcus Pighuta. Together, the growing cast reflects creator Stewart St. John’s ongoing effort to expand the colorful world of Oinkersfield far beyond its rural roots.

According to St. John, the inclusion of international personalities is very much part of the show’s DNA.

“I love the idea that in a small town like Oinkersfield you might run into a world-famous actress, a German exchange student who never went home, or somebody who seems completely out of place,” said St. John. “It’s part of the humor. Oinkersfield operates by its own rules, and the more unexpected the character, the better.”

For St. John, Krawehl’s casting also reflects the unconventional approach that has shaped many of the show’s characters.

“I’ve always believed casting is about finding interesting people, not just actors,” said St. John. “Sometimes someone has a quality that immediately sparks an idea. Marco has this wonderful enthusiasm and charm that made me think of an eccentric German theater impresario who genuinely believes community theater is the center of the universe. The moment the idea popped into my head, Maximilian practically introduced himself.”

Based in Berlin, Germany, Krawehl holds a Master’s Degree in Communication and Business and works as a communications manager. A lifelong lover of the arts, storytelling, food, and wine, he became acquainted with The Swines through its growing online presence before being invited to join the cast.

“I feel like I’ve had a real Schwein gehabt moment,” said Krawehl. “That’s a German expression that literally means ‘lucky pig.’ Being invited into the world of The Swines has been surreal. The team at Wonkybot have been incredibly welcoming, and I’ve had the greatest experience bringing Maximilian to life. I’m thrilled, grateful, and excited for audiences to meet him.”

Before making his on-screen debut, Krawehl will appear as himself in a special episode of Behind The Swines, Wonkybot’s new short-form behind-the-scenes interview series featuring cast members, creators, and collaborators from the growing Swines universe.

Premiering June 25 on YouTube, Behind The Swines: Interview with Marco Krawehl talks about his experience recording the role, and his thoughts on joining the eccentric world of the series.

Audiences will meet Maximilian Schweinschnauzen for the first time when Episode 5 of The Swines Season 2 premieres Friday, July 3 on YouTube.
