Something wonderful is beginning to bloom inside the Wonkybot universe.

For years, our stories have traveled through sound — adventures carried across headphones and imaginations around the world. From Tara Tremendous to Spooky Troop, our podcast network proved that independent creators could build original worlds from nothing but story, heart, and a belief that audiences were hungry for something new.

But storytelling has a funny way of growing.

And lately, Todd, Michael and I here at Wonkybot have been asking the same question: What would those worlds look like if we brought them to life visually and shared them with the youngest dreamers among us?

That question led us somewhere magical.

Today we’re thrilled to introduce Wonkybot Kids, a new YouTube hub where Wonkybot’s stories begin their next evolution — coming to life in animation for young audiences everywhere. It’s a place where kindness matters, curiosity is celebrated, and adventure always carries a little bit of heart.

Leading the way is our newest animated series, BLISS.

Inspired by the character Bliss the Friendly Fairy from our earlier podcast Following Bliss, the show invites children into the shimmering world of Sparkle Forest, where Bliss lives in a cozy treehouse surrounded by magical friends. Alongside her playful wand Wandie and her sweet unicorn companion Starlight, Bliss spends her days helping creatures in need — whether that means finding a lost baby unicorn, recovering a dragon’s stolen egg, or simply sharing songs that remind us all that kindness is its own kind of magic.

The episodes are short, musical, and joyful — designed for kids and families discovering the wonder of stories for the very first time.

But BLISS is just the beginning.

Wonkybot Kids will soon become the home for a growing slate of original animated worlds, including Spooky Troop Mysteries, Tara Tremendous: The Young Adventures, Drew Draws, Princess Sarika, and Chase in Space — each born from the same creative philosophy that built our podcast universe: create original characters, tell meaningful stories, and invite audiences to grow with them.

In many ways, this moment feels deeply personal to me.

Long before Wonkybot existed, I began my career at Hanna-Barbera, where I had the extraordinary privilege of being mentored by the legendary Joseph Barbera. One day, during a conversation about storytelling and animation, Joe said something I’ve never forgotten. He told me he believed I would someday have my own studio.

At the time, that idea felt impossibly big.

But standing here now — watching characters that once lived only in childhood sketches and late-night ideas begin to step into the world — I can’t help but think about that moment.

Wonkybot Kids feels like the continuation of that dream.

It’s also the product of an incredible creative partnership. My collaborators Todd Fisher and Michael Plahuta have been essential in bringing these worlds to life. Together we’ve built a creative pipeline that allows us to write, illustrate, design, score, and produce our stories independently — keeping the spirit of imagination at the center of everything we do.

And perhaps most importantly, we’re doing it with the belief that stories for children should uplift, inspire, and celebrate the beautiful differences that make each of us who we are.

In an age where entertainment often moves faster than reflection, we hope Wonkybot Kids becomes a small corner of the internet where families can find something joyful, gentle, and magical.

Because sometimes the biggest adventures begin with the smallest spark.

In Sparkle Forest — and here at Wonkybot — that spark has a name.

Bliss.
