Tara Tremendous: Mariana Harrison, Maddie Rowe, Josiah Mustaleski, Campbell Ella & McKenzie Harms Among Season 3 Cast

LOS ANGELES, CA., June 09, 2021 — Wonkybot has just announced another round of casting for the third season of Stewart St John’s hit superhero podcast series Tara Tremendous, beginning with 17-year-old newcomer Mariana Harrison who steps into the lead role of Tara Callahan/Tara Tremendous. She joins previously announced film and television stars Sarah Douglas, Deborah Kennedy and Hannah Monson.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Mariana to fans around the word as the new fifteen-year-old Tara Tremendous,” said creator/writer/director Stewart St John. “After a vigorous casting search that stretched on for months we finally found the right young actress who embodies the personality traits and acting chops to pull off the spirited, strong yet sweet and fun Tara Callahan!”

Created, written and directed by St John, the third season of the award-winning Tara Tremendous premiers Tuesday, June 15, and continues the saga of Tara Callahan, who, after accidentally acquiring all the super powers in the universe, begins training in order to one day embrace her destiny as the world’s most powerful superhero.

Rounding out the Power University superhero student roles are Tara’s best friends Maddie Rowe as Chloe Greene/‘Elemental Heart’ and Josiah Mustalesk as Seth Reynolds/‘Remix’; Campbell Ella as mean girl Priscilla Ashcroft the Sorceress and Mckenzie Harms as her sidekick Felicity Valkunberg/‘Multiply’.

“We’re thrilled to welcome this wonderful and talented young group of actors to the show,” said Tara Tremendous producer Todd Fisher.

Other cast include St John reprising his role as supervillain Professor Epicopolis/Dr. Epic, and Michael Plahuta returning to play Mr. Barrington, the much beloved headmaster of Power U.

Supporting cast includes Michael Myracle returning as Tara’s self-centered aunt Lucinda DuPont and Casey Maxwell reprising her role as Lucinda’s snarky assistant, Abigail Pruitt. Josh Brandon voices the character of the alien Ja Na, Dennis Hart plays General Keller, Eli Cameron is Mr. Digby, Steve King as Mr. Crutchley and Jacob King as Teen Barrington. There are also appearances by Rebecca King, John Grayson, Tanya Rich, Heather Harms, Craig Smith and Jessica Magers-Rankin providing voices for multiple characters throughout the series.

St John produces alongside Michael Plahuta and Todd Fisher through their Wonkybot Studios. St John and music partner Michael Plahuta also score the series, including the new Tara Tremendous theme song with plans to release an album later in the summer. The trailer for season 3 will drop next week ahead of the Season 3 premiere.
