LOS ANGELES, CA., February 8, 2022 — EXCLUSIVE: Wonkybot, the award-winning content and podcast production company, has dropped the highly anticipated season 4 trailer and key art for its wildly successful superhero audio adventure series Tara Tremendous, set to return Friday, March 11 on Wonkybot.com and other major podcast platforms, or ad-free on the Wonkybot Channel on Apple Podcasts. Creator, writer and showrunner Stewart St John will announce and reveal the trailer on the Wonkybot Insider podcast Tuesday, February 8 here: https://www.wonkybot.com/wonkybot-insider/.

The 12-episode fourth season features an amazing cast of returning voices including celebrity guest-stars Sarah Douglas (Superman,  A Christmas Prince), Deborah Kennedy (Australia’s A Place To Call Home) and Terence Crawford. The series  picks up moments after the shocking season three cliff-hanger with Tara Callahan aka Tara Tremendous (Mariana Harrison) abducted by an alien empress (Sarah Douglas) who plans to use Tara’s incredible super powers to regain control of her fallen galactic kingdom.

“It’s one of the most thrilling, complex and compelling seasons we’ve ever produced,” said St John. “It’s an intergalactic space adventure that finds Tara’s friends, family and Power U faculty members embarking on a mission to rescue Tara who’s been taken 42 million light years away!”

Other major season four storylines include a villainous former headmaster (Terence Crawford) possessing the body of the Head of Education (Deborah Kennedy) and a teen sorceress (Campbell Ella), her super bestie (McKenzie Harms) and an enchanted bunny named Potion uncovering Power U’s troubled past.

Season four also introduces two new characters into the Tara Tremendous mythology — Master Machine and Tremendous Boy, played by newcomers Jordan Briggs and Cameron Hernandez.

“We’re delighted to introduce audiences around the world to these two compelling new characters who will have a major impact within the Tremendous Universe,” added St John, referring to the shared audio universe of superheroes, sci-fi and fantasy shows he’s creating at Wonkybot . “And we’re thrilled with the talented new actors we’ve cast to bring the characters to life. They’re both so excited to join the show, and I know the fans are going to absolutely love them!”

With over forty voice actors recorded in seven studios across three continents, and with an original score by St John and Michael Plahuta, and top-level sound design by Plahuta, Tara Tremendous pushes the boundaries of audio storytelling and demonstrates Wonkybot Studios’ groundbreaking production work.

“Stewart’s riveting storylines, characters and imagination and Michael’s immersive, cinematic sound design, coupled with their combined musical score for the series, makes this simply beyond anything being produced in the audio space,” added executive producer Todd Fisher, who is also a co-founder of Wonkybot along with St John and Plahuta.

Wonkybot has also revealed the Season 4 Key Art featuring an updated Tara Tremendous logo.  “The new logo reflects Tara growing up,” said Plahuta, who guided the team on the art’s new direction. “The entire series continues to mature with each passing season so we like to reflect this in subtle ways, including  through the key art and music choices for the series.”

Rounding out the Power University superhero student roles are Tara’s best friends Maddie Rowe as Chloe Greene/‘Elemental Heart’ and Josiah Mustaleski as Seth Reynolds/‘Remix’; Campbell Ella as mean girl Priscilla Ashcroft the Sorceress and Mckenzie Harms as her sidekick Felicity Valkunberg/‘Multiply’.

Other cast include St John reprising his role as supervillain Professor Epicopolis/Dr. Epic, and Michael Plahuta returning to voice Mr. Barrington, the much beloved headmaster of Power U.

Supporting cast includes Michael Myracle as Tara’s irascible aunt Lucinda DuPont , Casey Maxwell as Lucinda’s snarky assistant, Abigail Pruitt,  Josh Brandon as the alien Ja’Na, and Jessica Magers-Rankin as loyal Ms. Bennett.

The series was recorded around the world including Australia, the UK, Brazil and the USA. Tara Tremendous is executive produced by Stewart St John, Michael Plahuta and Todd Fisher through their award-winning Wonkybot Studios content and podcast company.
