Wonkybot Introduces ‘Young Tara Tremendous’ Brand In Spin-Off Audio Series Aimed At Younger Audience

Los Angeles, CA., February 14, 2024 — Today, Wonkybot Entertainment announced the creation of a permanently aged-down version of its wildly successful teenaged Tara Tremendous character with the release of Young Tara Tremendous: Season 1, the first in a series of cinematic, full-cast audio adventures chronicling the titular hero’s inspiring, early adventures as she navigates her newfound powers, interviews famous superheroes and makes new friends – all while attending Power University. The first volume of episodes is available immediately with a subscription to Wonkybot+ on Apple podcasts.

Created and written by Wonkybot co-founder and CEO Stewart St John, the Tara Tremendous character is the story of a normal girl with extraordinary DNA that allows her to tap into the powers of any superhero in the universe.  St John is currently writing the Tara Tremendous book series as part of a three-book deal with Simon & Schuster imprint Andrews McMeel.

“Young Tara Tremendous has all the moxie that our audience loves about the older character,” said St John. “She’s still the outspoken, headstrong and lovable girl we know, just in a smaller package!”

Wonkybot’s move to establish a separate Young Tara Tremendous brand is aimed at creating an entry point for audiences ages 6 and up across all media platforms, and to help differentiate between the more mature character and stories depicted in the company’s award-winning flagship audio teen series Tara Tremendous.

“The older-skewing series is definitely bigger and bolder, with complicated storylines and a ‘Marvel’ movie feel,” added Todd Fisher, Wonkybot co-founder and executive producer of the show. “We’re excited to be able to tell different kinds of stories with Young Tara Tremendous. A junior version of the character was previously introduced in an origin story and stage musical, but this incarnation of the character will remain forever young.”

The Young Tara Tremendous series is Created, Written and Directed by Stewart St John, and Executive Produced by Stewart St John, Todd Fisher and Michael Plahuta for Wonkybot Studios, the production division of Wonkybot Entertainment.
