Special Pre-Show Concert Will Open Tara Tremendous The Musical Event
Beverly Hills, CA — Alabama actress Kloe Justice has been tapped to play Delilah Davenport (aka Delilah The Demon) in Wonkybot’s presentation of Stewart St John’s “Spooky Troop The Musical Concert”. The pre-show event will lead into the Tara Tremendous The Musical Concert at the Anniston Performing Arts Center in Anniston, Alabama.
Produced by Wonkybot Studios, show time is November 2 at 7 PM. Tickets are now available at wonkybot.com
“We’re so excited to welcome the talented Kloe Justice to the Spooky Troop family,” added Todd Fisher, co-founder of Wonkybot Studios and producer of the musical. “Delilah is a demon girl who loves fashion, music and having fun — and we think Kloe is going to do an excellent job bringing her to life!”
Kloe, a 7th grader, loves to sing, dance and act. She’s been a performer with Characters Entertainment and CCT Elite Troupe in Alabama for six years and was recently cast as Shawand in a local production of “Elf, Jr.” and a storyteller in “Once On This Island, Jr.” being performed at the next Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta.
Created by Stewart St John, Spooky Troop is the story of seven supernatural friends who want to make a difference in their world, a place where monsters, witches, ghosts and ghouls really exist – and are feuding with each other. The Spooky Troop friends — Stewart (The Sorcerer), Valerie (The Vampire), Willie (The Werewolf), Delilah (The Demon), Zianna (The Zombie), Todd (The Oddbot) and Michael (The Monster) — are determined to show their racially divided realm the power of coming together… even if the world isn’t ready to embrace such a concept.
St John adapted the story for the stage and composed brand new songs with musical partner Michael Plahuta, which will be heard for the very first time in the Anniston concert.
“Wonkybot’s mission is to deliver exiting stories with positive themes for kids and families,” added Fisher. “Spooky Troop is an exciting adventure story filled with positive themes about tolerance, believing in yourself and the power of family and friendship. We couldn’t be more proud to introduce the Spooky Troop to the Alabama audience.”
Wonkybot chose Anniston, Alabama to launch the concert because of the enormous support, warmth and love the project has garnered from the community, which represents the message of what Wonkybot and its projects are all about.
The 90-minute musical evening is presented by Wonkybot Studios with support from CAST Theater, CharACTer Entertainment, Kimberlite Productions, The Music Box and Knox Concert Series. Produced by Todd Fisher, Stewart St John, and Michael Plahuta. Co-Produced by Emmalie Whitney.
Stay tuned for more cast announcements this week.
